Almost two months after student-led protests exploded on the streets of Hong Kong, authorities in the Chinese territory have failed to quash the “Umbrella Revolution.” Three young women from strikingly different backgrounds have been filming their perspectives on the campaign. Vicky from Vietnam passionately supports it, Jing Jing from mainland China is unconvinced it matters, and Ansah, a fourth-generation Pakistani Hong Konger, finally feels accepted as she marches among the crowds. Through their lenses we get a rare glimpse into the multicultural world gathered beneath the umbrella of Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement.
