May, 2012 – Montevideo, Uruguay – Following an intense six day workshop, independent filmmakers from across Latin America sat down to discuss their work. These regionally based filmmakers examined what it means to reflect the changes occurring in their countries today through observational documentary films. This in-depth exploration of their aims and their craft highlights one of the goals of the Viewfinder project; to provide a forum for regionally based storytellers and their films.
