Dr Michael Mosley inquires into the brutal history of experimental psychology in an interest evoking and at times disturbing series .In order to find the history of the attempts to understand and manipulate the brain, he start his work on three ways to understand science of the human mind.
First he investigates the menacing ways that science has been used for mind control. He finds that the tracking of mind control results many casualties. The remarkable record captures what occurred that scientists systematically change the behavior of children; law abiding citizens give mortal electric shocks and electrodes has inserted in the head of a gay man in an attempt to turn his sexuality.
In this film, Michael traces how scientists have struggled to understand our emotions. He meets with the participants and scientists of some of the major historical experiments. Many of these remarkable research projects such as how an eight-month-old boy is instruct to fear random objects, mothers made from wire and cloth are given to baby monkeys, and an adult is intentionally vehement before a group of toddlers were captured on film.
