A Syrian Love Story is a 2015 British documentary film, illustrating an unbelievable epic story to political freedom. Filmed in more than five years by Sean McAllister, it intimately describes the adversities of a modern-day Syrian family.
The story is about Amer and Raghda, who met fifteen years ago in a Syrian prison. After their release from prison, they got married and began a family. Together they have two children Bob and Kaka, aged four and fourteen, who in their entire lives saw going of their both parents to prison due to their political thoughts.
This is a deeply heart-touching description of two stories: that between the Amer and Raghda who are forcibly separated by detention and banish, and other being their love for their homeland Syria which left long and bad impacts on their lives, marriage, and children.
