Memory of the Camps

In the spring of 1945, the Allied forces liberating Europe found confirmations of abomination. The troops of the Allied forces made an efficient film record of what they saw, as they entered the German concentration camps. Work on the documentary was started in the summer of 1945, but the film was left unfinished.
It was stored in a vault of London’s Imperial War Museum, and in 1985 FRONTLINE found and broadcast it for the first time with the title ‘Memory of the Camps’ which was given by the Imperial War Museum.
