The CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) is an economic corridor that containing a collection of projects and considered as a part of One Belt, One Road (OBOR) scheme ambitious of China. Presently CEPEC is under construction at the cost of $54 billion, and the projects under its sponsorship including the fast service to reinforce the economy of Pakistan, building of main infrastructure, formation of special economic Zones, and better electricity supply. Through CPEC, China will get an alternate way for the supply of energies and in addition a new rout for trade management.
Through an immense network of highways and railways, the CPEC scheme will cross the Pakistan by length and width and will ultimately link Gwadar, the southwestern city of Pakistan, with the Xinjiang, the northwestern city of China. . CPEC was partly put into use on 13 November 2016 as Chinese freight was transported to Gwadar Port for forward naval delivery to West Asia and Africa.
