Andris Nelsons, music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, visited Google’s office in Cambridge, MA to discuss the art and craft of conducting with the BSO’s managing director, Mark Volpe.

In additions to his work at the Boston Symphony, Andris Nelsons is the music director-designate of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. He has conducted symphonic and operatic music around the world. Mark Volpe oversees the Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops, and Tanglewood, the BSO’s summer festival in the Berkshires.
