A History Of U.S.–Libya Relations


The United States has resumed military strikes in Libya – this time, against ISIS. But this isn’t the first time the U.S. has had a military campaign in Libya. In fact, Libya has been a key country in the U.S.’s foreign policy in the Middle East. The country had a leader that wasn’t down with the United States, it had a revolution, it has oil – and now it has ISIS.
